Operation Christmas Child

OCC is a Samaritans Purse program which is part of of the Franklin Graham Ministries

The Shoe box program takes a simple box filled with school supplies, clothing, toys, hygiene items, stuffies, back packs, socks and many other possibilities and gets it into the hands of a child. The intent is to bring joy to that child and to introduce that child to our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

It all starts with acquiring all the "stuff" to go into the boxes

Then you have a packing party to get all that "stuff" into those shoe boxes. Our chruch has typically packed 300 - 400 boxes

Then of course you have to gather all those boxes and make a cute display for a photo op.
